 Steer clear of Coventry at all costs!!  I worked as an adjuster in the insurance industry for over 15 years, dealing with many insurance companies, and many types of claims.  I have never experienced a company as hard to deal with as Coventry.  The customer service is rude and horrible! They routinely deny claims under their "pre-exisiting" clause forcing their policy-holders to collect medical data from the providers to prove the visit to the physician, procedure, surgery, or other necessary medicals were not necessitated by a pre-exisitng condition. They will often simple deny a claim rather than request additional documentation from a provider.

Then after you do prove your condition was not pre-existing this company drags on forever before paying what they owe under the contract.  I have been forced to pay physicians out of my pocket for expenses and procedures that are clearly covered under my contract with Coventry.  I have seen many other reviews such as this one, and talked to many people who are also being ripped-off by Coventry.  I have also heard of class action litigation being prepared against Coventry.  If that takes place I will be the first to sign up!  Don't waste your time nor money purchasing a policy from Coventry.
