My family purchased what we were informed of being a good family dog a Labrador retriever at first a fun loving affectionate pup, but over the next couple of months as the story goes the dog had a Jekyll and Hyde personality and became very aggressive towards the family, in fact the dog was growling, snarling and even has attempted to attack us. We have a young special needs child that we did not want to be mauled buy a family pet. We had a dog trainer attempt to work with the dog and they felt that there was something very wrong with the dog. The dog's aggressive behavior was increasing daily. We had the dog neutered to see if that would take care of his aggressive behavior. The aggression continued the dog had lunged out at the trainer, but was not bit. We where then advised to call our veterinarian who advised us to remove the dog from the house we called several rehabilitation big dog rescue facility who agreed to take the dog. Now the company was at first really concerned and offered us a in store credit however they have reneged on the offer claiming that we where in the wrong. And now we have to pay $1600 plus for a dog that we do not even have. Morally what this company is doing is wrong we have tried to resolve this matter civilly and peacefully but to no avail. We are an honest Christian family very well respected in the community and for this company to do this is unethical business. They state that these dogs do not come from puppy mills but after further research I am not so sure and have seen some postings from former employees who also believe that these dogs come from puppy mills. Do not buy any dogs or any other pets from this company. This company does not care about you the consumer all they care about is them selves and lining their own pockets with money.

We purchased our Bolognese puppy from Animal Kindgom in Paradise Valley, AZ on December 17, 2004. We were told she came from a breeder and we were shown the breeders name on her "papers". Since her breed is rare and cannot be registered with the AKC yet, we believed them. We found out when she was 2 that she had asthma and bad allergies. I started doing research online since her breed is not known for any ailments ar ilness at that time. I came across a lot of websites that stated ALL of the pet stores in the Malls buy from puppy mills. They can say they don't because they purchase from the Hunte Corporation run by Andrew Hunte, the owner. So they are not lying because they are not directly buying from the puppy mills, they buy from The Hunte Corp. This man is purchasing puppies from filthy, disgusting millers all over the Midwest. These puppies and their parents are kept in 3 x 3 cages left out in the elements. No human interaction, no food or water and most have never touched the ground. The worst part is the cages are lined one on top of another and the feces and urine just drops down to the dog below. Our dog is 6 1/2 now and she has just been diagnosed with Acute Pancreatitis and a Stage 2 Heart Block. They are both deadly and I am so sick over this. Oh and did I mention she had and survived Parvo at 2 months weighing 2 lbs? Did I also mention the breeder listed on our papers is Andrew Hunte's Daughter? True! Bottom line.. Pet Stores all over the country DO BUY FROM PUPPY MILLS and they will lie and tell yo what ever you want to hear to sell you an overpriced puppy. Please, please do not buy from Pet Stores. We did not know at the time. If I had known, I would not have walked in. My only fear is that they would have killed my precious Bree because she is a rare breed and she cost them a lot of money with the Parvo (that's what they do to dogs that are sick or get too old to sell and stick them in their freezer). I feel we saved her and luckily we can afford her medical care but please buy from a reputable breeder or adopt!
