CPR For Your Car F.E.N. Enterprises of New York, Inc., Cadillac Restoration and Parts Elsa Mauer Nicodemus has my 1967 Ford Galaxie convertible and she refuses to return it to me. Elsa said that she sold my car because of storage charges that were not paid. I never received the proper paper work for the storage charges for my late brother Tony’s car nor any paperwork for the process of having a mechanics’ lien put on my car. I only received a letter telling me that she was going to do it. This is not legal. Poughkeepsie New York
Elsa Mauer Nicodemus has my 1967 Ford Galaxie convertible and she refuses to return it to me. Elsa said that she sold my car because of storage charges that were not paid. I never received the proper paperwork for the storage charges for my late brother Tony's car nor any paperwork for the process of having a mechanics' lien put on my car. I only received a letter telling me that she was gong to to do it. This is not legal.
This car belonged to my later brother Tony. Tony told me several times he did not like or trust Elsa but Tony thought that Frank was still with F.E.N. Enterprises and that Tony trusted Frank, not Elsa, so he left his car with Elsa thinking that Frank was there, but he wasn't. I transferred the registration from my late brother Tony's to my name and if she did put a mechanics lien on the car and sold it I would not have been able to transfer the registration to my name. I am the executor of my late brother Tony's estate and I have proof and I sent it to Elsa.
I don't believe she sold the car. I believe she still has it in her garage at 150 Noxon Road in Poughkeepsie, New York. Every time I spoke with Elsa she was very mean to me screaming at me. My attorney told me that I would have to pay him a retainer and after all of the costs of taking Elsa to court it would cost more than the value of the car. My attorney told me to file a complaint with the New York State Attorney General and I did. Elsa answer again that she placed a lien on the car and followed legal procedure but never turned in any paperwork to me or the Attorney General office. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
My family and I are just sick over this. This car is so special to me because it was so special to my late brother Tony. He loved that car!
I am writing this review so that nobody else will have to suffer the way that I did and please I apologize for my English I am from Puerto Rico and my english is not the best.
