Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I, recently attended a Cr England, orientation and it was totally not organized and borring, frist I would like to tell about the lies that was told form the begining by the recruiter, they said that I would be staying at a Comfort Inn or the American Inn, that wasn't true. I stayed at the worst motel in the state of Texas, It was horrible and not a place I would stay at all. They don't provide you with any food or pay during the two week orientation and the training in the trucks stinks it's a crash coures and I mean CRASH!!!

I, compeleted the orientation and then went on the road with a trainer who only cared about getting his loads delivered and not training me how to shift gears in certain situations and while driving in the mountains it was a experience that I will never forget my life flashed before me during a grade 6 downgrade I was traveling 85 to 90 miles a hour and all I could do was hold onto the wheel. I decided at that moment that maybe this is not the job for me but after thinking about it for awhile I know that I can do this job and that It's just time to move to another company that cares about the drivers safety and not the load. 2013-08-07

CR Englands Trks MAY be Governed To 62 miles per hour, But When 40 tons or 80,000 lbs start down a mountain

They go WAY Faster Than 62! ......But I am sure you Knew this?....Seeing as how YOU claim to be in the Trucking Business??

I just wanted to say to student that quit that your missing out on a good job. Training may be a slow Process but at the end it's worth it. Your trainer should of showed you how to go down a mt or hill. That's  his fault not englands. We need are students to speak out when these things happen. Running 3 yrs strong and I'm a trainer. There up and downs on any job. You should of made it point to contact slc for help. You know they will take you back. Here's  my site it's for driver that are still at England. If u need help write me. (((ROR redacted)))

We are sorry to hear you've had a difficult training experience.  We understand the hard work it takes to become a professional truck driver.  C.R. England provides free travel, hotel and tuition to our 2 week CDL schools.  Safety is our #1 value and we never want to hear of a dangerous situation like what you've described.  We govern our trucks at 62 mph.  Please call me at (801) 972-2712 and ask for Driver Advocates so we can take the appropriate action.

Did they say you would be provided food and orientation pay?  Did they say how and when that orientation pay would be paid?  As you were going down the mountain, what was the trainer doing?  I find it hard to believe he/she was just sitting there saying nothing as you speed built up.
