Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

they are not been fair or honest. also they do plan there new drivers to trainers until 3 days after class is over so be prepared to have extra money or be careful what you wish for that doesn't mean you have a job until you arrive and let you go with paying your expenses to get home.

please allow me to correct my other comment: one time someone in the office was rude to me and refused to help me, refused to make a phone call for me that was work related stating "I am deaf too". I asked HR to talk to this person and the company reacted quick and effectively to correct this issue.

I am hard of hearing myself. I do NOT pass the wisper test. I DO pass the audiometric test... barely. I drove for 11 years by C.R. England. The "Office" always helped me when my hearing gave me problems. This includes making phone calls for me if needed. This also included calling a receiver or shipper and tell them I could not check-in by intercom or phone at the gate and accomodate me. Whatever is said of C.R. England I am not discriminated, ever, by the company. Once though someone did not help me and ignored me because he was deaf. One qualcom message to HR took effective care of this problem.

So if you are not hired thats not discrmination (I have seen some other drivers being hard of hearing there) but might have to do with your own attitude. Yes.. DEAF truckers can get now a waiver from the DOT. True. But employers are not used to DEAF truckers and its something that need to grow.

I wish you lots of succes. Take care.

I see your Remaks on other company rip offs, But What I was wondering is If you do not" work" for CR ENGLAND, Then what makes you think you have a "Right" or even know what you are talking about to defend the scum-bags??

Then you just continue writing like an uneducated dummy and let everybody think that's exactly what you are.  Quite possibly your biggest problem in getting a job is your attitude problem.  When somebody tells it like it is...how DARE they tell you!  GROW UP little boy and use your time off to learn third grade English!

First I didn't ask your opinion about my grammar or how I write I'm letting people know. That they discriminate the deaf people. Thanks for your bad attitude.

First, in order to maximize your emplyoment chances, learn to properly write the English language with emphasis on sentence structure, punctuation and the use of words such as "their" and "there".

Having said that, the DOT standards for a driver medical fitness certification are MINIMUM requirements.  Any carrier can have their own standards ABOVE what the DOT considers as minimum.  However, this does not mean another carrier will have the same criterion.  My suggestion is you try another carrier and if you still have the long form physical sheet from England's doctor, ask them specific questions as to whether your results will meet their standards.  Additionally, in order for you to not waste your time and money, I suggest you tell a perspective carrier you would prefer to take the physical BEFORE you report to orientation.  No, I don't work for them.
