Craig Stapel dba Wax Museum DJ's Wax Museum DJ's uses and rips off subcontracted DJ's Oshkosh, Wisconsin
I subcontracted a wedding for them, as well. He told me he couldn't do the gig due to a hurt shoulder, and told me that the bride & groom were expecting me, and would pay me the full amount owed the night of the event. well, I set up in plenty of time, and greeted the couple, who thought I was Craig, they didn't know anything about his "injury", and my filling in... well, that was only the beginning, I later found out that there were some requested songs, some I already had, others I did not, since Mr. Stapel didn't provide me with their list, only telling me they were "a nice easy going couple" ...Needless to say the Groom was upset and at one point confronted me about this, then when it came for the time to square things away, they told me they already payed a substantial deposit, and I was only going to get a portion. bottom line, the Bride and Groom were dissappointed, and I felt bad, in part that I couldn't provide them what they wanted, and that I only got a small portion of payment in contrast to what I promised by Craig. I also pleaded and begged with him, only getting a couple small payments. Bottom line: If you are contacted by Craig Stapel to do a gig for him.... "Think Twice"!!!
