Credicorp Inc. Misleading Credit Card Offer From Credicorp deceptive company Dallas Texas
I did receive an offer from Credicorp Inc. saying I had been pre-approved for a Gold Card membership. This is where a lot of people get in trouble. They do not "READ" the contents of mail they receive. When I first read "Gold Card", I immediately thought it meant a credit card. As I read further I realized that this was not a credit card offer. To me this would lead some people who do not have good reading skills to feel that they are being offered a credit card.
Also, in the body of the letter there was a $37.00 annual fee requested. In fine print at the bottom of the letter, it read to return with signature and a $29.95 fee.
I just feel this company was being misleading and should be clearer about the fact that this is not an offer for a credit card that can be used anywhere a credit card is accepted.
