Credit Acceptance Corp ripoff, Do NOT finance with these people if avoidable Southfield Michigan
After reading 13 complaints against the above named companby I would like to add my 2 cents.
I must agree with most of the complaints that have been reported here. They are very rude, one hand does not know what the other is doing. I have had 6 calls in one day from 6 different people concerning a SUV I had stolen and each time I had to repeat the story and each time all they wanted was the payment that was due 2 days before.
I had financed another vehicle thru them and had paid if off. At a later time, after I had financed this vehicle, I checked my credit report and they had reported to Experian I was 180 days late with my payments. Tried to have it corrected but to no avail.
The extended warranty is another story. What was $900.00 3 years ago is now $1400.00. 99.9% of all covered parts are being paid for by the consumer with their $100.00 deductable, so unless you have a major breakdown, they pay nothing and from what I see they don't pay even if the repairs are over.
I had a chap stick me for a lot of money on a home I was building for him a few years ago and I now see this is where all the rip-off leaches come into the program. The vehicles I had a choice from were all run into the ground, high mileage, had NY inspection stickers on them when there were things wrong that could have not passed inspection but the little guy has no recourse. I would love to be represented in a class action suit!!!INFORM ME PLEASE!!!
