I guess it is my fault that I have bad credit and have to finance through Credit Acceptance, but I feel this company is the absolute SCUM f the earth. I can't believe that there are so many worthless, waste of flesh people crammed into one festering, immoral, bloodsucking company (my honest opinion).

I had some financial difficulties several months ago, and they repossessed my vehicle. I was able to come up with 1,200 dollars to recover the car. Their recovery department then told me that I still had an overdue balance of around $800.00, but I could pay that overdue balance by adding $50.00 to my regular monthly payment until paid. Sounded pretty fair. I even signed documents that detailed this agreement.

Well even though I make my monthly payment on time and include the extra $50.00 they call at least 3 times a day with threats of repossession, and just flat out rudeness. Every time they call I explain to them that I have an agreement to pay 50.00 over my monthly payment to pay off the overdue balance. Their response is that they don't care what the agreement is; they will continue to call everyday because there is an overdue balance. What can I do? They are driving me crazy!!!!!!!

Mark, Change your phone# to an unlisted one! That is guaranteed to stop the calls. Or you can program all of their phone#'s into a fax machine or dialer and program to redial constantly. This will ring all phones they have all day long, say 2 minutes apart. I did a debt collector like this one time. Have fun.

Hi, A few years ago C.A. had a different company doing their collections. As a previous finance manager and a dealer partner with C.A. I had a customer say the exact same thing to me as your experience. You need to call you dealership (sorry,) ask for the finance manager and tell him you need to speak with his Market Area Manager ASAP. Ask for his email address or any way to communicate this problem to him. You can also call your attorney and tell him its stressing you out. You are fulfilling the additional contract terms and need to live free of this crap. Also call 1-800-729-7633. Go thru the selections and ask for the collections dept. You can have your account put to their dept internally, much friendlier than the 3rd party morons.
