Have been a customer with credit acceptance approximately 2 years. been on time for quite a while on payments. my wife became sick ended up in the hospital for a months time,fell behind a litlle but never more then within the 10 day grace period.



Calls poured in plenty of times within a days time asking when payment would be in.explained situation why behind and company did work with us to get back on track but would always ask when the next months payment would be on time,vehicle became impaired not to long ago.Needed battery replacement and light maintenance and that did add to additional cost. these costs did push us back to be on time with payments and then the problems began with the vehicle mechanism being shut off and on. the battery also continues to drain of energy and the vehicle needs to be recoded with new pass codes this continued for couple months where I have to call credit acceptance for new codes plus the remote control cannot place codes through ,this causes confusion as to if the car is immobilized or does the remote not work??



So we started the process of elimination,we took the car to auto zone to test the battery was told we need a battery so we got one,replaced the battery in the hand remote....tried everything possible and the remote worked.....for couple weeks.... made our payment 12 days late guess what happened??  remote doesnt work and vehicle immobilized and payment is in  and when you call to find out if they received payment their automated system states--"congratulations! your account is current".but my vehicle is not running!!!!! Passtime can't help either because their senior tech cant make his way to the phones to talk to me also. tried 3 times and was told he'll call back in 5 minutes--no such luck! wow they sure can take your money quick--if anyone can help please send your comments or legal advice, oh by the way I INTEND to contact attorney general and BBB.
