HELP!!

I feel so I've been rip-off by Credit Acceptance. Before I purchased my mini-van I was told at the car lot with $1000 down I was able to puchase a later model car a 2004 or 2005. The next day I when I returned to the car lot the car sales man informed me that I was approved for a loan through credit acceptance, but the only thing they had on the lot was a 1996 Dodge Caravan and credit acceptance would only approve for me to purchase a automible no later than 1999, and I would have to come up with another $1000 dollars in order to purchase the van. The salesman road with me to the bank to cash a $1000 dollar check when I did a test drive. The salesman went on to say after a year or two I would be able to trade the van in for a later model automobile.

They went over the paperwork with me before I signed and to my understanding I was set to pay by paypal with the $60.00 plus a week to be automatically withdrawn from my checking account starting the following month. To my surprise when I went to withdraw my money out of the back to pay my rent. I had no money in my account. That was problem number one.

When I purchased the van the right wheel made a noise. The salesman assured me that they will fix everthing on the van before I purchase it. (Oh! by the way I purchased a warrenty as well). Well, to make this short I feel they soup the van up to pass inspection. About a month after I purchased the van the noise came back even louder than before. I took it back to the dealership they told me it wasn't covered on the warrenty and I would have to pay them $80.00 just for them to look at the van. I was upset! I took my van to pep boys where they looked at the van for free. Pep boys told me it was my wheel alignment and they meaning the dealership never fixed it.

The problem is I have been having trouble with this van since I purchased it. I'm stuck with a van that can not pass inspection. I spent close to to $600.00 dollars last month to get it ready for inspection, not only that my car insurance runs $188.00 a month and on top of that Credit Acceptance is making harrassing calls and threating to take the van. I have invested to much money in a lemon, but even though the van is a lemon I feel they have no right to harrass me. When they call up until 8:30 pm, I will always have three or four different representative calling asking me when I'm going to make a payment, when I already have spoken with another. Even though when I'm not sure, the reps will not hang up until you give them a date so they can have it recorded, I don't feel that's right.

The van know sounds like a whistle when driving the heater stop working, the check engine lights comes on and off. It's always a problem. SOMEONE HELP!!!! I'M STUCK WITH A VAN THAT WILL NOT PASS INSPECTION!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all, you should've had the van checked out by your mechanic. However, because of your credit, you really don't have any recourse. You said that you purchased a warranty. Whose warranty? If you have a warranty, then those items should be covered. $2256.00 a year for insurance also tells me that you have a lot of tickets and/or accidents and terrible credit. Unfortunately, because of that, you have to settle for high-mileage junk until you get back on track. I would pursue the warranty aspect for now, and take the dealer to small claims court for the repairs if they don't honor the warranty.
