Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I have 2 GEMB accts. In July of 2007, I made a payment to the wrong acct. When I received the next statement, I realized what I had done and called the company. I spoke w/ a man and he said he would move the payment over to the right acct and take off the late fee. Next statement comes, no credit of last payment that was to moved and a late fee. The man did not do his job.

I called again. Talked to Stephanie who had no authorization to correct the acct. I told her I wanted to speak w/ someone w/ authority. She told me she would have her supervisor return my call. For 3 weeks I waited. No Call.

I wrote a letter stating my dispute. I got a letter back, saying they would review my inquiry. That was marked Sept 10, 2007. Today is Dec 31, 2007 and there is still no response from them. I called again today. The girl, Kristen (manager) , argues that I never mentioned a dispute. What I have I been doing calling all of this time and writing letters for? Okay I tell her, I am telling you now I have a dispute and since I have been trying to resolve this it has been a dispute. She plays totally stupid, or she is stupid to begin with.

The response letter states that it is a dipute. She says they will respond within 90 days. I tell her that the response was from Sept 10. Well over 90 days.

I also tell her that no one there will do their job and that is why I 'm still wasting my time talking to her. She gives me a choice...I can pay the 2 late fees or incur interest and more late fees. I told her I was not doing any of it. I would send another letter and wait for a response from the dispute. She says there is no dispute. Get the picture?

She lied about the phone calls and the letters until I told of the dates I called and receiving a response letter. Then she admitted to seeing them. I know this is boring and yada, yada, yada. But you use them and you will be doing the same thing I'm doing ... wasting your time.

My next step is the Banking Bureau and then a Lawyer. Anyone want to get in on a class action suit? By the way, the other acct is paid in full and so is the acct in dispute, but they're trying to sux out the 2 late fees. I will get even, I have nothing better to do. My credit score is also 785. Close to perfect. Happy New Year.
