Janea of Credit Control, LLC-Las Vegas office with the phone number 800-915-1016 continues to harrass me on my personal and unlisted cell phone number. The company has called over 20 times and left messages for another party unknown to me.
My husband spoke with Janea and she was a jerk but changed her tune when my husband stated he would report her and the company to the FTC, the BBB in Las Vegas and Missouri where the company is based, and the CA Dept. of Corporations. He asked to speak with a supervisor and spoke with Stacey Benton who claimed to be based in Las Vegas and requested that they leave the number off the call list. She admitted that I had been called several times. (I counted 25 plus). She said that there was no request in the file requesting to be left off the call list. He said there were and that each harrassment call could be a separate cause of action for harrassment.
I expect an apology and at least being deleted from their call list.

Please be assured that Credit Control, LLC takes all consumer feedback including complaints like yours very seriously. As soon as we became aware of your complaint on this site we began conducting our internal investigation into the concerns you raised. After interviewing the employees you named and reviewing our records, we were able to identify the call you referenced. While we obviously cannot go into any specific information regarding the call on a public forum such as this, we would like to take this opportunity to address your issues and concerns.
First and foremost, we want to reiterate the apology that was given to your husband by our supervisor Stacey Benton during the call. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience to you as a result of our having called your phone as a wrong number for the individual we were trying to reach. You are correct that we appear to have called multiple times, but please understand that when we call and leave a message and receive no return call advising us that we’re calling a wrong number we have no way of knowing that it is indeed a wrong number. While we understand and acknowledge your frustration at receiving calls from our company, we hope you understand that we have no interest in ever placing a call that does not lead to us speaking to the party we’re trying to reach.
A review of our call history to the number we were calling confirmed what Stacey had explained to your husband—that we do not have record of ever speaking with anyone at this number before the call you mention. We also want to confirm to you that upon being informed that we have a wrong number, your number has now been removed from our files. You should not receive any further calls from Credit Control, LLC.
Once again I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. If you have any further questions or concerns, we invite you to reach out to us at your convenience. You can reach our Compliance Department via email at [email protected].
