I have been in the Banking Industry for over twenty years and just retired. What a fool I am for signing up for a credit card with CREDIT ONE BANK in Las Vegas. There are no cancellation provisions with this bank. The FAQ's will not direct anyone to a live person to speak with regarding a cancellation process. The transaction fees are not DISCLOSED in their WEB offering and the annual fees are automatically charged to your account. You will not be able to dispute them and I strongly suggest that you don't opt in for this card.

I have contacted the Las Vegas Department of Banks and Financial Institutions.

I will be formally registering a complaint of with the DBFI in Las Vegas today for unfair business practices, excessive consumer fees, and wrongful disclosure practices. This is why the Frank Dodd bill was enacted.

I am unable to disclose any personal information via this complaint. However, anyone wishing to become involved with a potential class action suit against the bank may contact me through LinkedIn. In the search bar type in Rod Jones,
you will be directed to my page and my cell number is listed near the bottom of the page.

In the meantime; here is the link to the Department of Banks and Financial Institutions in Las Vegas www.fid.state.nb.us. I STRONGLY suggest you log onto to this site and register your consumer complaint with the agency. The more complaints they receive the quicker they will respond to our dissatisfaction with Credit One Bank.

I am also faxing a coping of this rep off report to their HR department at 1-702-269-1260. Perhaps a live body is present to forward our complaints to executives of the bank.

Let's be proactive and not let institutions take advantage of us.

Once again, when they receive the registered complaint form they will follow up with the Bank. Again, imperative that each of you fill this from out and fax immediately to the fax number listed on the form.

My apologies to all: I was miss informed as to the process for filing our complaints to be registered with the Department of Banks and Finance in Las Vegas.

Here is the correct web address and the form that needs to be filled out and fax to the DBF. The fax number is on the the form.

It is imperative that each of you that file a complaint on the Ripoff Report site also take the time to file a formal complaint against the bank by faxing the complaint form to the DBF.
