I worked at CSA for quite a while in settlements, both normal and legal. They are a complete rip-off. Anyone not in Sales is absolutely not allowed to question, or even for that matter, talk to salespeople. They knowingly enroll accounts that have already been sued or have judgements or creditors that they know won't settle because it's all about THE SERVICE FEES. They say it's a great place to work and hype of the "free lunch on Tuesdays" thing, but so what? there is ALWAYS madatory overtime which the only occassionally pay for and if you can't work the mandatory overtime (sometimes you only get one days notice) than they count it against you. The only way to succeed at Credit Solutions is to sleep with a supervisor, and then you still aren't guaranteed to stay around too long. This place is a horrible place to work and is a trap for innocent consumers already plagued by financial and personal problems. I had more than a few clients threaten to kill themselves on the phone.

I used to work in the settlement department and quit after seeing how many clients get sued and the terrible settlement offers we wold get them. The sales force says one thing and we would then have to give the clients the cold hard truth about those 40% settlements. Their a joke. More like 70-80%, unless your stuff had been in collections for a long time. The sales force works solely on commission and everyone is forced to work all the time. Why? To make money. The most unproffesional group of people you will meet. So, they make everything seem as rosy as they can. So that you will sign up and so they earn the commission. They make over $100K each year off of your 15% service fee. The sales practice sounds a lot like that of DebtXS, which was just sued by the Texas Attorney General. I would stay away from debt settlement. Do it on yor own. It's not that hard.
