"They" did not kill your car, due to you defaulting on the payment and the payment system indicating you have a deliquent balance on the account a signal is sent to the car to disable it. This is all done automaticallty and there is nothing that cab be done to stop it. I can assure you the action is not illegal as you signed a contarct at the time of purchase that indicates your car will be disabled for non-payment (and partial payments count as non-payment). You have no one to be angry with other than yourself. You signed a contract and agreed to pay $X every month and failure to do that is considered defaulting on your agreement event if it is just one day late. I would also advise paying that .32 if you have not already done so. I have seen companies that will assess late fee on deliquent balances (and .32 is considered a deliquent balance) which could result in balance on your account and your car being disabled again.
