Refused to release my car to me after it broke down and under warranty.  Falsely claimed I owed them $1,000 that they credited at the time of purchase I went there with a clear statement that I only had $1,500 to put towards a down payment for the car.  They put me in an Chevy Impala and the lender wanted a down payment of $2,500, I repeated that the only
down payment I had as $1,500 they stated they would give me $1,000 towards the purchase as a credit but do not tell the lender as they do not like to see that.

We moved forward and I drove off the lot.  About three weeks passed after already bringing the car back for some minor things the car began to have more problems. It turned out to be a transmission issue and they were going to fix
it as it was still under their warranty.

We scheduled the appointment but the car broke down before the appointment and I had the car towed to the car place.  I went to the dealer to check on my car and was informed that they would not give me the car unless I paid them the $1,000
I owed them.  I stated I stated I do not owe you any money. They informed me that the $1,000 was due 10/1/12. I asked them to provide me a copy of something that shows I owe them $1,000 they couldn't and refused to provide me a copy of my receipt as they stated it would show that I didn't owe anything showing paid.

This is approximately 10/20/12 I had not even made my first payment on the car.  They refused to release the car to me.  I called the lender and explained Credit Maxx is in possession of the car claiming I owed them $1,000 for the down payment and informed them that I didn't owe them any money for the car as they credited the purchase being you wanted $2,500.  The lender returned the contract back to Credit Maxx and cancelled my loan to them.

Approximately two weeks went by and as I went to get my money off my paypal account I noted a charge to my account of $500.00 from Credit Maxx.  I never gave them authorization to charge my paypal visa account.  They only had authrization to charge the original $1,000 towards my down payment and then I gave them $500 I had to go to the ATM to get as my card would only allow me to charge at one time $1,000.  I have tried unsuccessfully to speak with them and they will not take my
call.   This is fraud to the highest level.
