I can understand your frustration about getting the "new & better" plan. Personally, Cricket's not a rip-off, but you probably feel that way since the new plan might not have been explained to you in full detail. Here's the catch though: you AGREED to change the plan...and verbal agreement is as much verification as signing a contract. From what you're saying already, I can see that you probably had the old "Cricket Talk" plan which came with 500 mintues of Long Distance (which you could also use for directory assistance calls @ $1 per call). That also came with 3-way calling, but not with Text messaging, which was an additional $4.99 with that plan. As for the directory assistance calls, they're still available, but you're only limited to 2 per month. Unfortunately, 3-way calling is not available with the new "Unlimited" plan that you have now (and for obvious reasons). I'm sorry that the representative didn't understand that your plan was really what you needed since you used mostly 3-way and directory assistance. As for the CSR, he/she told you correctly: the "Cricket Talk" plan isn't available anymore, and therefore it cannot be switched back. I'm sorry to hear that Cricket lost you as a valued customer. Hopefully Nextel will work out for you. Just do NOT go over your limited anytime minutes...oh, and about that 2-year contract Nextel signed you up for....and check out the early termination fee on that contract (upwards of $200 per line)...
