cross country bank consumer fraud ripoff boca raton Florida
i oepen a cross country bank credit card this was my first one and im 30 something they sent me a card with a limit of $250.00 thats ok with me to start somewhere . but by the time i got the card i ahd only $125. left to use . im a business owner so i was placing a order . i called the crosscounty bank and ask what my limit was and they told me i had $125.00 to use . im like ok this is great.
using that amount to order . the next month i got my bill and low and behold there was a over limit charge there and a late pay how can u be late when this is your first bill. so as time went on i called and called the company asking them to fix this problem . they never did . so i never paid them. they called 27 times in one day. till my daughter answered the phone they scared her to giving them her account information to make a payment she was scared to death . they told her that they was going to take me to jail . so she made a payment to them.
now that they had her card infomation. on 8-29 they called my husband made a cash offer to him he toldthem that he needed something in writting before he could say yes, instead they took her account and drafted it for $560.00 then added a 7.00 charge and then a $30.00 dollar charge for over the limit fee. then added a $30 check return fee, then added a $12.13 for purchases of 9,77 that i never used.
now the new balance is now $319.34 not only did they use my daughter card to make a withdraw that she did not tell them that she could they commited fraud!
