I had a card with Cross Country Bank about 4 years ago. I was late on making my payments and they called me one night offering to work out a deal with me on paying them back. I only had a $500.00 credit limit and I used it all up. When they made the plea bargain with me they asked me to pay $300.00 and they would let the rest go. Well I did exactly that. I went and got a money order and paid them the way I was told to. As of today it is still showing up on my credit report as if I have never paid it. I want it off my credit and I want them to leave me alone. Because of them I havent been able to do anything.
