Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Lets start in orientation, first they dont provide lunch for there drivers (which ive never heard of). The first couple days of orientation are pretty straight foward routine paperwork, physical, a couple videos about the company, heres the catch they dont do a road test(which i thought was requiered by DOT). On the last day you recive your contract and truck(WHICH YOU DONT PICK OUT) they rush through the contract and try to get you out the door and headed to the truck THEY assign you.

The trucks, on the last day of Orientation they send you to the nearest airport and you pick up a rental car (at CRST'S expense). They tell you where the truck is located (mine was located at someones house in hugo, MN) and you drive to pick it up. Once you have the truck you bring the car to the nearest airport and take a taxi back to the truck (also at CRST'S expense). The trucks have between 600k-750k miles and you are going to pay $35k-$48k for them. There is no bunk heaters no extras as far as creature comforts. The trucks are not in the best shape either they have been rode hard and put away wet, they are whats left over after the teams in there van devison doesnt want them anymore.

Pay and deuctions, you get 75% of the load revenue and all the fuel surcharge. Doesnt sound bad until you find out what you pay. Lets say load revenue is $2000 and fuel surcharge is $500 on a 1000 mile load. So 75% is $1500 + $500 = $2000 paid to the truck. They are going to charge you 1.8 time the loaded miles for your "waranty" so thats 1800 X 0.12= $216 that you will never see again. Next you are going to pay for your transflow at $0.25 a page. You are going to pay a $4 "wire charge" for ever advance they put on you card for fuel. Then you are going to pay your trailer rent $185 and your going to pay for the registration on that trailer. Then theres your truck payment. Then you have to pay for your equipment ($2800 used) then you are responsable for all tolls, then theres the things you would normally pay for, plates, permits, fuel.

Finding loads and dispatch, office personal are only avaible from 7am-5pm monday-friday. And 7-12 on staurday. If you cant find a load through CRST's agents or a broker durring those hours your stuck sitting at the truck stop. You are 100% responsable to find all you own loads through brokers or CRST agents if you find one through a broker you still have to call your dispatcher after you have called the broker so they can call the broker and book the load.

In closing Malones lease purchase you are going to do almost all the work and still make less then a company driver. CRST doesnt pay for anything YOU do. CRST malone barley has any office staff and there not 24 hours. There is 12 people in payroll for the entire company. Why would you give them 25% for no support.i mean your paying for transflow and the wire fees for getting fuel these might seem trival but for the money they are taking off the top why are we paying for that? Just stay away there are much beter programs out there.
