Broadmoor Group Inc did a "hostile takeover” on 8-17-18, bought Crystal Towers Apts (has VERY old water heaters, constant mice and rats at a premium rate $570-$630 mo) at xx Tamm - xx Lindenwood Avenues, St Louis MO. The tenants are 98% white and the neighborhood is 98% white, as a result African American FEMALES apts have been aggressively broken into twice since 8-17-18. The VERY CREEPY maintenance men (all are white or mexican) are FIXATED on single African American females and are brazenly stealing, contaminating the entire apt, washing up, pleasuring themselves inside the apts, etc. Management is aggressively retaliating against African American females by alleging the "desperate” employees smelled something in the building, yet, they are only targeting A.A. apartments. There are white males smoking, smoking/cooking illegal drugs etc, but maintenance can’t find the SOURCE/doesn’t investigate. Any ridiculous complaints by the white tenants are immediately linked to African American females. THIS IS WHY people are already breaking leases... this violates the Lease.

I'm also a resident at Crystal Towers. I'm just a little confused. No one in our building is cooking or selling drugs, but we are 1 building out of 3 so I don't know what is happening in the other buildings. We haven't had any break ins in our building that we know of. People are breaking their leases because when Broadmoor Group bought Crystal Towers they said they weren't renewing leases because they want to renovate.

A lot of tenants have been allowed to break their lease with no penalty because Broadmoor just wants everyone out. But what information do you have that it was a "hostile takeover" from Broadmoor group, I'm genuinely interested because the random sale of the building was weird.

Also, was your apartment broken into? What time of the day does this happen? I'm just really curious and starting to worry about our building.
