Cyclone Air Systems Beware. Liar, bad business practices Concord California
This is an update. I hired this company to clean out my airducts. The website says they accept credit cards, are BBB authorized. There are also "coupons" to be found on the website, as well as 4 or 5 different phone numbers to contact, depending on the city you are in.
After telling him I was paying by credit card, before the cleaning was started, he failed to inform me that he no longer accepts credit cards. He then tried to push and push and push to get me to buy a filter from him, even though I told him repeatedly I didn't want it. After cleaning was done, then I found out I would have to pay in cash, which I didn't have. He also told me that he would not honor the coupon I had printed out from the website, since the "price already included the coupon discount".
I told him I was unhappy, and that I would report him here, he said he didn't care.
Two days after filing my first report, in which I had also filed a report with the BBB, who say that he is no longer a BBB member, and comes up "unsatisfactory", he called to try to get me to rescind my report. I told him that if he returned my money, I would file an update to say that he had made it right. He wanted me to file first, I said no, I would have to get my money first. I called him a day later, he said he was on the phone, and would call me right back. Now, ten days later, he finally called. I told him it was too late.
This kid has no idea of how to run a business, or how to be honest. The website is a lie. You think that its a large business, but really, all the different phone numbers go back to his one phone. He uses the BBB logo everywhere, but is not authorized to do so.
Run, don't walk, away from this company. I don't know about the quality of the work done, I am not crawling down inside my ducts to see if they are clean, but they only spent 20 minutes, for $200
