D8idea.com - Sharon Cammarata They sell adds on their webb site with a money back gurantee. But when customers do not show up, neither does the refund, although they promise to refund the money! Miami Beach Florida
In October 2007, Sharon Cammarata contacted us to place an add on their web site, D8idea.com. Placing an add with them would put us in contact with their 50,000 plus members. As the site is for high end customers, there would be a need for charter aircraft. As a "North American Air Charter Referral Service" this looked like a good venue to advertise in. As well they offered a 60 day money back guarantee if we were not satisfied.
Before our 60 days where up, I contacted Sharon stating that we had not received one call from any D8idea.com customers. She said no problem, but lets try it for 6 months, and if you still have the same results, that she would refund us our money, $1992, with out any questions.
April 2008 came along and I called Sharon for a refund. No problem she said.
Now it is July 2008 and still no refund. Now the phone number is no longer answered. For grins, I googled D8idea.com, and came across the rip off report. The person writing the report on D8idea could have written it for me, as everything they said was the same for us.
If anyone else has had this same experience, I would like to hear about it, as I would like to pursue legal action.
Also, I have contacted American Express about D8idea.com so their charge privileges may be taken away.

Not surprised at all, Dave. Here is the response I posted to Ana from the other company who had the same experience as you. I have copied and pasted it below. I hope all the companies that Sharon and Joe Cammarata ripped off get together and sue them. They cannot continue to scam companies and people this way. It's been going on for years!! Here's what I wrote Ana:
Dear Ana,
You are right and Sharon and Joe Cammarata will never pay you. I am not surprised to read that Sharon is up to the same antics. You MUST take legal action. I know this because I was hired by them to be the Director of Operations for DateCard USA, or so the company was called at the time. This was about 4 years ago. I was even headhunted from my current position at the time. I signed a contract for employment and began on the date we agreed upon even though there was a delay in setting up the offices (what should've been my first sign). To make a long story short, I was never paid.. not one red cent.
I, too, was given the exact same run around you are receiving. I, too, have documentation in the form of e-mails even stating specific dates and a payment structure where Sharon agreed to fulfill her end of the agreement and pay me what I was owed. The dates and the structure of payment which allowed her to breakdown the amount owed to me was even selected by her!!! Those dates came and went and nothing. Sure, she too continued to pick up my calls and answered my emails but could never tell me specifics. How is it possible she can run a company and have absolutely no information about the status of it? I, too, use the word "company" loosely. There was never a company, there was never an intent to pay, there are no employees and I doubt there's even a database!! It's a scam, a run around and I can't believe 4 years later they are still trying to get get one over on people!
I tried to sue but the effort became too much for me. They holed themselves up in their apartment and wouldn't allow themselves to be served papers. Blocked by the lobby security each time. The effort wasn't worth it to me and I moved on to find a REAL job but the grief they caused me and the financial hole they put me in took forever for me to get out of.
I hope you get your money back and expose them for the frauds they are. Take it from someone who has been in your shoes... just sue them already as they will not pay you back. They will just continue to give you the runaround as they did to me.
