Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
On Jan 21, 2012, my company Dome Star Computer Services, LLC entered a contract agreement with Dakota Card Services DBA Northern Leasing Systems, INC for a Credit Card Machine to have the ability to except customer credit cards for my business with Billing to begin March 1st, 2012

The contract was for $79.90 for 36 months, transaction fees will be 1.69% for swipe plus 10 cents. And all start-up fee were waived, additional documents was signed that made the contract cancelable, this document is required by the state of South Dakota and this is per the agent at Dakota Card Services, Gene Drong 300 E.  58th St. N.  Sioux Falls, SD 57104, ph. 1.605.332.5721, copy of the contract was not given to me at the time of signing. Said he needed it to fax to Northern Leasing Sytems, Inc. and would mail it to me.

Upon receiving the contract copy from Northern Leasing Systems, INC. three of the initial documents signed was missing from the package, (1) The cancelable document from South Dakota that was signed and (2) the rates document and billing start date for March 1st, 2012, (3) the cancelable document was replaced with a torn up non-cancelable document that was put together and filled in, because of the long start date is why I signed, Gene stated that he wanted to help because I was just starting out with my business.  I was concerned about the contracts I had received and contacted Gene; Gene said that the contract could be canceled at any time.

On Jan 26, 2012, Northern Leasing Systems started debiting my bank account for fees of $33.65 and Feb 1st, 2012 monthly fee of 89.64, additional fees of $25.00 and $20.00 were taken on Feb 7th and 8th, we didnt have possession of the device until Feb 3rd, 2012 The agreement was for $79.90 and the fore-mentioned swipe rate to start on March 1st,
2012. I contacted Gene at Dakota Card Services and he refunded me $127.56, before we could get to the bank, Northern Leasing Systems debited my account again incurring 2 over draft fees of $33.00 each. Between Jan 26th,
2012 and Feb 14th, 2012 my account was debited a total of (15) fifteen times. Yet, the contract was signed to start on March 1st, 2012.

Dakota Card Services was contacted on Feb 15, 2012 and arrangements was made to return the machine and end the contract under the South Dakota state document as sign at the beginning of the contract process. Of course, Gene missed the appointment and never showed, no calls answered or returned.

To date my business is in the rears of $243.00 because of this Bait and Switch tactic. I will not be a victim.
Northern Leasing Systems, Inc and Dakota Card Services must be made to pay. Do to the fraudulent actions by Northern Leasing Systems, Inc and Dakota Card Services, my bank account was closed.  Thanks to the banks security measures and quick thinking, no more fees were taken from my account and after further investigation into Northern Leasing Systems, Inc, it was found that they have a long track record of fraud. I hope they will be stopped soon and brought to justice.

A While ago I file a complaint against Dakota Card Services and I won. Be very careful with this business and make sure you have everything in front of you, do not leave him without getting copies of every document you sign, he will change or alter the documents. File the complaint with all proper agencies in a timely manner. The State Attorney General Office in NY will charge you however the State Attorneys Office of South Dakota was very helpful and courteous. Thanks to them I won. Don't be cheated you have rights. Unfortunately dakota card service is still in business so Buyer Beware! Good Luck all
