Dallas Code Compliance Dallas Code Enforcement Hound us every year, sometimes twice a year for bogus code compliance infractions ranging from vegetation overgrowth in alley, to sidewalk overgrowth, to visibilitiy triangle obstructions. Dallas Texas
Dallas City Code Compliance department is being used by top city officials and affluent neighborhood residents to harass and torment certain neighbors they don't like. "So called" infractions include alley growth one inch to far into the alley, sidewalk tree limbs dropping less than 15 feet over sidewalk, visibility triangle has obstructive vegetation in far corner furtherest away from intersection. They come out whenever these privileged neighbors pull their strings to harass their neighbors. Or when a city officials wants to inflict retrobution on a Dallas resident they don't particularly like.
Meanwhile hundreds of seriously overgrown, neglected, and obstructive alleys, triangles, and sidewalks all over Dallas go unaddressed. The sad thing is that Code Compliance has no oversight, and the Dallas City Mayor and Dallas City Manager do nothing to reign them in. I guess political office in Dallas has its privileges. Perhaps a Federal Investigation is in order into the malfeasance going on in this Dallas office. How so few individuals could inflict so much vindictive unwarranted harm on undeserving neighbors boggles the mind. Don't just follow the letter of the law, ascertain if the complaint is warranted in the first place.
