HELLO MY NAME IS JERRY, MY WIFE AND I PURCHASED A VEHICLE FROM DAN NELSON IN DECEMBER OF 04 WE BOTH DIDN'T HAVE GREAT CREDIT DUE TO PRIOR SITUTATIONS, SO WE WENT TO THEM TO ESTABLISH OUR CREDIT. WE GOT A 2000 FORD WINDSTAR WHEN WE GOT THE VEHICLE IT HAD A TRANSMISSION MOUNT THAT WAS BAD AND IT DIDN'T WANT TO IDLE RIGHT, THE SALESMAN SAID " NO PROBLEM YOU'VE GOT A WARRENTY BRING IT TO OUR SERVICE DEPT. AND WE WILL HAVE IT FIXED FOR YOU, SO I WASN'T WORRIED ABOUT IT MUCH.
SO WE TOOK THE VAN TO THE SERVICE DEPT. WENT TO PICK IT UP AND NONE OF THE PROBLEMS WERE FIXED. I TOLD THE SERVICE REP, HE SAID WE FIXED THE PROBLEM BUT THEY DIDN'T SO THEY BROUGHT IT BACK IN, AND DECIDED THAT IT NEEDED A NEW PART TO FIX THE PROBLEM, SO HE SAID HE WOULD ORDER THE PART, THIS WAS A WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS, I CALLED JANUARY 14TH AND NO PART ORDERED. NOW THE TRANSMISSION IS GOING OUT. AND THEY DON'T KNOW WHEN THEY CAN GET IT IN. I PAY 325.00 A MONTH FOR SOMETHING I DON'T FEEL SAFE TAKING MY FAMILY IN. AND PAYING A UNGODLY INTEREST RATE ON. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE TO ASSURE PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF AND OTHERS GET A FAIR DEAL.
The Iowa attorney general has filed a class action law suit against dan nelson. You should contact them and give them your information and see what you can do.
