What is more confusing is there are companies with similar names, and they are not the same but do similar work. What they are is Door-to-door sales people. some of the greasisest slimeballs i have ever met.

Door-to-door sales people are illegal in Toronto, but they don't care. They are in the area when they are doing work, long enough to knock on every door on your street. They will start a project quickly and take their time accomplishing anything that you argreed them to do.

They can deceive you in many ways once they your attention to get some work done on your home. I have not been able to find any information cliaming who they say they are. Daren and alex anre not licenced contyractors, nor do they have any licenced trade workers that I am aware of. You can check business licencing in Ontario.

They promise you a lot but do not deliever what they say. Their contracts are vague, and if you don't understand what materials or the work is involvd and you are not watching them every minute they are there, they will take advantage of you. remember you have 10 days to cancel the contract. they played dumb about what they described in the details of the work they do. if you get your way one time, they found other avenues to take something away, in my case it was bait and switch materials with lesser quaility, or a cheaper filler, warrnty, and guarantee.

Once they start a job the other saleman who claims to be a licenced contractor shows up to pressure into getting more work done. They go out the way to make sure you are not paying attention, and they pull every scam trick you can think of. So, please read the contract front to back.

Once you get confused to what they are doing it is too late if 10 days have passed, and locked into a contract. You do have 10 days to cancel. Don't listen to their stories about working without a permit or paying cash. You are liable for anything that goes wrong, and it's in the contract fine print at the back.

They take you to another home to view the work they started, and from my experience they will tell you personal information about the people, and probe you further to get to know you. I haven't seen any jobs finished only started, 

They will offer you something that they say is for free, but you end up paying for it in the end. Once they can't get any more money from you, they dispappear. They will cash your deposit check after they decided that they finished, not when the work is completed, and promised that they will return.

They did not cash the deposit, until they left but they did not deduct the deposit from the total and cash both payments the same day. Instread of deducting payments, or costs they add it in the contract that is barely readable with scribbing all over it.

Make sure you understand that materials associated with job they said they do, I didn't get what was promised, and how would you know, you are distracted and you can't see what is buried in the ground or wall. I had doubts early on, but their go to answer is "i have a warranty" or the work is not "accomplished" finished yet.

For me they created damages they they hid, to get more work. Remember they say they are offering something for free to get your trust, and when it's too late they bait you and switch with tag team scammers blaming each otrher, or their sub contarcted trades people o play dumb.

They had no respect for your property, and don't clean up but try to hid their waste on your property on several ocassions. the work is shody at best, and weeks later falling apart and crumbling. The warranty is useless, and they did not come back to finish.

They just did not care, like telemarketing phone scammers.
