04/10/2008 2:15pm Daniel N Gordon called asking for me and when I hung up the phone he called me back 4 times. On the fifth call I answered the phone and he said that if I didn't talk to him I would be in big trouble. I hung up again and he tried to call back 2 more times. I didn't answer those times.

Mr. Gordon is big on making threats...

Yes, Mr. Daniel N Gordon, of Daniel N Gordon PC is personally known to me as being a person who is big on making threats, losing his temper and outright threatening you personally too. I think he's getting too old be an effective and upstanding attorney anymore. If I recall right, he's about 70 yrs old now. The way to deal with this person is to know the laws, watch his moves and cut him off at every pass with his paperwork, which is usually wrong or inaccurate. More than likely, though I don't know your case, he's represening a client that is a junk debt purchaser. If so, dealing with him is very easy to do. First, IF he files an action against you in court, don't ignore it. He likes to make his millions off the backs of hard working people who may have come into hard times. He usually does this by getting a default judgement against you if you ignore his suit or don't show up for court. IF he files, keep current with the court on dates, times and appearances. Brush up on your legal knowledge, and go to budhibbs.com to get free information on how to deal with such collectors. If you don't owe the money, or don't wish to work with a collecor, then don't pay him. Don't pay him a dime...because once you do, it's much harder to win against him. (I hope you've not fallen prey to their "offers.") To stop the harassment, send him and his office a CEASE COMM letter, which is a cease communication letter. A great example of this letter is located at budhibbs.com who is familiar with Mr. Gordon. Good luck!!
