Complaint Review: Darling Purrs Cattery - 92660 California

I purchased the Himalayan kitten two years ago from Ann Chapman. Her home was immaculate. She made us use sanitizer on our hands before she allowed us to touch the kitten. She let my daughter play with her show cats, who were gorgeous!  She sent us photos of the kitten during the time we waited for the kitten to be old enough to come home with us. Ann is opposed to vaccinations, as are many people.

it's two years later and I love the cat we bought from her more than anything. The cat is beautiful! Her disposition is wonderful. I am waiting for Ann's next litter to find our next kitten. Everything in the complaint  report is absolutely wrong. 

 I own 3 cats from Ann Chatman's Cattery. She 's a very knowledgeable breeder, and I trust her 100% percent. I'm from New Orleans, LA, and I've sent my mother to her Cattery to pick up my kittens. They were VERY clean, lovable and healthy! I have always owned a cat since I was a child, and I will always own a cat from a reputable qualified breeder. Ann lives for her cats; they are her life. She doesn't deserve what this evil woman has done to her! If you are trying to make a decision to purchase a kitten/cat, Ann is the best, and her babies are AWESOME! 

Daine Dunn the person that wrote the horrid lies about my cattery due to a $800 refund which I gave her back but I did not need to do so as I have on my web site deposits none refundable,She claims I told her the kittens where show quality--I charged $1500 for breeding quality and $2500 for show quality--so being that I charged her $1400 for each kitten she knew they where breeding quality but I told her one never knows at the age of 12 weeks they could also be show quality.

Since all this happened I found out she has been in prison in Tennesse for a year and then on probation she is a DR of pyscology and must have worked her proffession on me as I can spot a con most of the time but this woman blind sided me.

I have put on my PERSIAN and HIMALYAN list that go out all over the world about how evil this lady is slandering me saying my house is dirty etc etc--I have a beautiful english home on a lake and my cats are treated like  kings and queens

.I never cage or shave my cats they are groomed on a regular bases.

I go to cats show regularly and Grand Champion many of my cats-I take pride in my clean cattery.

Please do not buy or sell kittens to this lady her cattery name is OBABY when and if she can reguster it with CFA--DO NOT LET HER IN YOUR HOUSE.

Diane L. Dunne contacted me looking for two show quality kittens to breed. I would not sell to her because there were several red flags brought up in the conversation. Sure enough, I spoke to another breeder and this was the same woman that threatened to get a non refundable deposit back and filed this complaint along with others to discredit Ann Chapman.

I know Ann personally along with many of the show breeders in the southwest region. She loves to show but it is more of a hobby for her. I can guarantee it is not a business but a labor of love. Her Kitty's are her family and their personalities are incredible. I have been to her home many times and it is not like a cattery but a home filled with love and it is always clean.

Diane Dunne used whatever lies she could use to make Ann look bad. It is extremely insulting for a breeder to have someone lie about the quality of their cats and home. The show breeders are a tight knit community and we know that this person is not ethical. All that have had the opportunity to visit Ann's home, know that Diane Dunne has had buyers remorse and bullied Ann into giving her money back. Those accusations are untrue!

Diane has contacted many breeders in California and Arizona for kittens. If you are a breeder......beware!!!! Please look at both sides to this story and form your own opinion.

I am the proud owner of the male chocolate point Himalayan who this woman was originally gonna purchase! Every statement made is absolutely false and untrue. Ann Chapman has been wonderful!! From start to finish she has kept in great communication with me and i even consider her a loving friend after my experience. Her house was emaculate, clean and smelled fresh. All her cats were beautiful and so well loved and taken care of. Ann made the process of getting my little "cuddles" such a pleasant experience that i will never go anywhere else or refer anyone but to Darling Purs Cattery. My husband and I drove 10 hours to get to Lake Forest CA and I tell you it was absolutely worth it! And we would do it again when we are looking to add another addition to our family. As for my baby "Cuddles" this kitten is absolutely gorgeous!! He is healthy, his coat is the softest I've ever felt, his eyes are gorgeous blue, and he smelled so good when I picked him up for the first time. He has added so much joy and love to our home and he is exactly where he belongs. He is soo sweet and has the best disposition. Please don't take the post above to have any validity or truth to the statements made.... You don't want to miss out on the best quality baby kittens available.

I am purchasing a beautiful kitten from Ann Chapman and I just want to say she has been more then hospitable to me.  I have been able to drop by at anytime at a moments notice to visit my kitten and her house is always clean and filled with love.  You would never know she even had cats except to see there beautiful clean healthy happy faces. 
   
I also think it is horrible somebody would right such nasty things about such a nice woman doing an excellent job.  She really cares for these cats, always bathing and grooming them.  I have popped over on bath day and saw it for my self.  I am so glad I found her and I encourage people to make there minds up for themselves.  This woman sounds indecisive and malicious.  I don't know hew personally but I do know what I see and I see a well knowledge loving woman who has spent her life raising these beautiful cats.  I look forward to picking up my beautiful kitten this weekend!!!!!

Dianne Dunn first came to my house in 2011 to buy show /breeder kittens she came several times over the course of 6 months anyway this summer she deciced  to buy a little chocolate point boy he was 5 weeks old and adorable healthy and clean she gave me $500 then 2 weeks later she came back to look at a tortie point but decided againest her --call me 2 days later saying she wanted a chocolate girl to go with the chocolate point boy so she gave me $300--So was charging her $1500 for the boy gave her a discount on the girl $1300 --So all in all she gave me $800 which is non refundable--6 weeks went by and she suddenly decided she did not want the chocolate points and wanted her money back--I was very upset as these kittens where now 12 weeks old so I told her I would give her deposur back as soon as I do sell the kittens which I thought was fair as my web site does say deposits are none refundable.Well she went off and then decideds to tell all these lies abot me-I am a clean freak so my house is so clean and smells so good most folk dont even know I have cats--my whole life is looking after my beautiful cats and kittens--now why would she buy any kitten from me if what she says is true--I did give her money back but all I can say that KARMA will cone back to her.

First off.. Darling purs Cattery is the cleanest one I have seen. You wouldnt even know she has a cattery in the household it is so clean. All of the kittens are bred underfoot. The cages are for the mommies and babies for only the first 4weeks and then they are moved to a room of their own. Ann Cleans the kitty litters out THREE TIMES a day and there are at least 4 litters to 6 cats. There is no feces (except in the kitty litter boxes prior to cleaning).
On the darling Purs website, it states 'DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE'
This Person comes in and asks for Breeding cats, puts down a deposit of $800 and then comes up with some cokamaime story about not being able to pay and asks if she can have them as pets.. Since she didnt get her way she goes on this website and posts viscous lies about this cattery. Darling purs has given back the $800 to this lady.
 If anyone has this lady call up asking to purchase Himalayan kittens, cats for breed or show. BE WARE...Her name is Diane Dunn. She is a very unstable unreliable human being.
