I received a letter from the attorney general today indicating that they may file against this company in future to protect the public. They are investigating my case. Please send any documents you have including a record of any phone conversations to the Attorney General of CA (google search will produce website) and describe your situation with Data line Credt. This individual needs to be stopped as he is violating almost every collection law and has a digraceful and fraudulent buiness ethic.

Here's What You Do FIRST! Go to ClarkHoward.com and click on the link regarding debt collection bureaus, ESPECIALLY the laws specific to California. What these clowns are doing is SO against Federal Law, you DO have a right to SUE the company in Small Claims Court for their actions. Look in Sections 800 - 810 Fair Credit Reporting Act. VERY INTERESTING READING. Dont wait for that BOZO to sue you - You SUE HIM! I have a case pending in LA Small Claims court against ARM Financial of San Diego. Dont offer these JERKS A PENNY! PLUS - It is against the law for them to access your credit report - Make a complaint with all 3 reporting bureaus - NEXT - DISPUTE the negative report on your credit. It WILL come off. The only way to beat these guys is to GET AGGRESSIVE! Keep us posted.

After sending proof positive concerning how this debt was not mine, including certified copies from the DMV,copy of bill of sale which stated that I would not be responsible for any accidents, tickets, impounds or breakdowns, which was also witnessed by a third party and signed by all parties involved. Norm has the gall to tell me my documentation is worthless. I recently sent him an offer just to get this B.S. off my credit report. I offered him $200 to call it even and to change the status of my account from collection to paid. Guess what this IDIOT did, he tack on another $200. What a MORON. I mailed a response suggesting that he take me to court where I could show the Judge my documentation and Norm could show his and let the judge decide. What do you think the chances of that happening?

After filing my first rip off report I received another collection notice from "norm". To my amazement he had tacked on another $173. This guy needs to be put out of business and put into jail.
