I SIGNED AND AGREED TO WORK WITH THIS COMPANY FOR A SUPERBOWL EVENT. THIS PROMOTIONAL EVENT WAS FOR A Bellatoria Pizza Promotion that was executed on January 29, 2009 - February 1, 2009. I HAVE DONE SEVERAL PROMOTIONAL EVENTS BEFORE AND ALWAYS RECEIVED MY CHECK 30-45 DAYS AFTER THE EVENT WITH ABSOLUTLY NO PROBLEMS.

I RECIEVED AN EMAIL ON FEBUARY 27, 2009 STATING WE WERE TOLD OUR PAYMENT FOR THE EVENT WOULD TAKE 45 'BUISNESS' DAYS. WE ALSO RECIEVED ANOTHER EMAIL FROM KEITH DAVANZO STATING THE INVOICES WENT OUT TO CORPORATE CLIENT (BELLATORIA PIZZA) ON FEBUARY 2,2009 AND THEREFORE PAYMENT SHOULD BE RECIEVED BY D'Avanzo Inc. by Approximately April 6, 2009. AFTERWARDS OUR CHECK WOULD BE CUT AND MAILED OUT IMMEDIATELY AND TO ALLOW 3-4 DAYS FOR POSTAL.

THEN AFTER SOMETIME HAS PASSED,SOMEONE SENT OUT AN EMAIL AROUND THE MID OF APRIL TO EVERYONE THAT HAD WORKED THE EVENT WONDERING WHAT WAS GOING ON OR IF ANYONE HAD RECIEVED THE MONEY THAT WAS OWED TO US FOR WORKING THIS PROMOTION. I CONTACTED SOMEONE THROUGH EMAIL AND SHE INFORMED ME THAT SHE WAS TOLD THAT THE BANK HAD HELD THE CHECK THE DAVANZO INC DEPOSITED AND ONLY HALF THE CHECKS GOT SENT OUT, AND THE OTHER BATCH WOULD BE SENT OUT IN ANOTHER WEEK.

THEN WEEKS LATER I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY CHECK, I CONTINUED TO CALL THE COMPANY AND KEITH DAVANZO AND NO REPLY TO PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS THAT I LEFT. FINALLY I REACHED HIM THE BEGINNING OF MAY AND HE TOLD ME HE WAS OUT OF TOWN AND HAD TO CHECK WITH HIS WIFE AND WOULD GET BACK TO ME BY THE END OF THE DAY. I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HIM AND STILL THIS 28TH OF MAY, HAVE NOT RECIEVED ANY PAYMENT FOR WORKING.

KEITH DAVANZO AND DAVANZO INC ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I WORKED REALLY HARD WITH THEM AND AT THE END NEVER GOT PAID.

I worked for D'Avanzo Inc. in January for a Superbowl promotion for Bellatoria Pizza in Clearwater FL. I received the same run around about payment, and was finally promised the checks would be mailed out April 6. I have yet to receive payment, along with anyone that worked at the Clearwater location. Yes it was made clear that payment would take 45 business days by Keith D'Avanzo. We were even sent an excel spreadsheet highlighting those 45 business days, which showed that payment would be sent out April 6. Phone calls and email still haven't been returned regarding payment. The 'office' phone number for D'Avanzo Inc. is actually a fax number. On April 10, we all received an email from Keith that stated: 'Dear Brand Ambassadors, All paychecks will be put in to the mail tomorrow first thing. Please allow a few days for the US Postal service to deliver your checks. -- Thank You' After weeks going by with no paycheck and multiple emails about payment, we all finally received this exact same copy and pasted reply to our questions from Keith D'Avanzo on April 21: 'When the email was sent out that checks have arrived that ment bellatoria paid us because it was a large sum the bank tends to hold it longer than usual..some checks have begun to go out cause the bank has released only part of the sum. once the bank clears the rest the other half of the checks will be going out. we are sorry for the deley, you should receive your check with our next check payrole we are sorry it took so long to get back to you..' THEN after repeated phone calls and emails that weren't returned I received an email on April 30 from Keith D'Avanzo that said: 'Im out of town and my mobile signal is horrible West Bumble land VA. when that email went out it only meant we received the check from the client..first batch of checks went out 2 weeks ago.then the bank released the second half of the check so now the second batch go's out at the end of next week that's when our cycle posts for payrole..' It is now June 3, and we have yet to hear anything else about payment. Spread the word not to work for, or hire D'Avanzo Inc. or Keith D'Avanzo. If you have not been paid by this client, please post your experience on here so that we can get together for a class action lawsuit if necessary. Clearwater location Orlando, Florida U.S.A.

I also have not been paid and know of at least three other people who have not been paid as well. And the missing paper work and address stuff maybe apply to one person but what about the rest of us that havent been paid? There are emails to prove more than four people which includes myself have not been paid yet for the promotion that was worked almost 6 months ago. Paper work for all the people was turned in on time and the addresses are correct. This information has been confirmed by the people STILL waiting for payment. Davanzo Inc. can not pay and is making up excuses. Everyone was told and UNDERSTOOD clearly that it would take 30 business days! But its been well over that so what other excuse do you want to come up with as to why and where the money is??

In the Marketing world there are different pay cycles, those who are experienced in this feild understand that.. And 45 to 60 business days means just that. It excludes holidays and weekends. Yes there are 2 people who have not been paid yet, But that's do to not submitting the paper work and failure to invoice.. The other person in question has moved and left no forwarding address My self and my accounting dept has contacted the two Brand Ambassadors and have made them aware. The Issue here is not non Payment its the Payment cycle And those who are inexperienced and new to this industry Get excited when a great paying promotion comes around and doesn't pay full attention during the phone interview when it all layed out on the table.. We Understand the excitement of being chosen over 100's of ba's but dont loose site of all the details especially the one most important to you (Pay roll).. The Above Complaint is considered Slander
