I regret that someone used my name to run a scam. I live in Tennessee, not California, and my reputation as a fine art photographer is well established in this part of the country. As it happens, I have two web sites, one of them davidhabercom.com, which contain more than enough information to fabricate a false identity, but also to verify my true ID. If you Google my name, you will find 128,000 references, so I am highly visible and easy to find. I should think a scammer would at least have sense enough to use an obscure name. I am glad that someone reported the scam and glad that he didn't get ripped off.

I always take the email or phone number from the Craigslist ad and Google it. More than likely, you will see numerous entries for the same car for sale all over the country. Go back to the original ad and 'FLAG' it.
