DBW - The Grant Express Bogus Scam, RIPOFF!!! Henderson Nevada
I like many others paid for a $1.98 CD to get information on federal grants and weeks later was charged $70.05 for a membership that was never disclosed on the web site. When i found the charge on my account i imediately called the customer support number to dispute the charge. I told them this charge was unauthorized and wanted the money returned at which time they said that would not happen and that i signed up for the membership and the charges were right. I had pulled up the web site and did not find anything about a 7day trial membership and told the rep the same thing in which she gave me the address to go to and look it up, which was a completely different site than the one i originally signed up on. We argued back and forth over the matter while the whole time i heard numerous calls in the background complaining about the same thing. Basically i was told the money would not be returned and i could cancel my membership at anytime, so as i was canceling my membership the lady has the balls to ask me about another RISK FREE! one time offer. You get the idea of what i had to say about that. I find it really disturbing that there is no regulations on this type of scamming and i feel terrible for people that loose their hard earned money on BS like this.
