DCA (DIRECT COMMERCE ACADEMY) BEWARE OF SCAM: DIRECT COMMERCE ACADEMY A FRAUD. THIS IS SERIOUS. WATCH OUT. Internet
Have you ever read that article about that all-American single mother who lost her job, and was unable to provide for her family until she started making 100 grand a year with her own blogging business posting links over the internet? If so, Beware and do not fall for this SCAM the same way I did.
So you read the article, and you really want to start this business to make your own money. Do not even start. The page will lead you to thedirectcommerceacademy.com website. There, they will ask you to buy a tutorial kit for $2.97. They claim that this kit will teach you how to get your business started at home, how to log in to your account, and how to start making big bucks right away. So I bought the kit thinking that this was true. I gave my credit card information to them, thinking that I would only be charged $2.97. Boy was I wrong.
I decided that this whole business sounded a little too good to be true. The one thing I know about business is that you cannot trust anyone, even people that you have known for years. So I researched DCA on google, and many messages and reports popped up claiming what a fraud this business was. People also claimed this company was not even located in the United States, and that they were operating from Belize in Central America. Many people claimed to have their money stolen, so I called my credit card company.
They told me that a charge of $139.95, $29.99, and the original $2.97 were charged to may account. The credit card handler on the phone told me that this money went to education/charity donations. I was completely bewildered to realize that within one day this company already took $172.92 from my credit card. Thank god I did not give them my bank account information. That is one thing never to do.
So this was my solution. I disputed the chargers with the credit card handler and he himself was confused about this education/charity report. Just imagine how much more money could have been taken from my account if I did not stop this now.
I know it is disappointing to hear that money will not be made in this way, but the truth is that money can only be made with hard, hard work. Please beware of things like these. Just getting the message out there.
