DCAP Insurance / Barry Goldstein DCAP is a total ripoff Woodhaven Hewlett New York
I gave DCAP a deposit for car insurance. The next day I was told by their "rep" that I could not insure my car because of a DMV issue.
I told them no problem, I would use another, more reputable company(I was suspicious of their storefront locations from the beginning)
I got insurance elsewhere- I told DCAp that since I was never insured by them that I wanted my money back. Simple- no insurance coverage- no cost to me.
Well these theives including their Chairman Barry Golstein jerked me around and lied to the State Insurance Dept when I comlained.
I am still pursuing my money.
These guys are a public company(believe it or not)- so they will be dealt with by the securities regulators. Do not use these people they tend to have their little storefront offices in working class neighbors and prey on the naive
