Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
This company has never contacted me since they started taking my money!

I was promised that all phone calls would stop and that this company was the save all to my debt problems about 9 months ago. I entered into their agreement with the expectation that they were going to make all the bill collector calls stop because they were members of the Better Business Bureau and had relationships with all the creditors I owed. They never told me I could be sued and have my wages garnished!

After 9 months in this program, I am still getting 15 to 20 calls per day from bill collectors that are telling me they had never heard of this Debt Remedy Solutions and certainly not been contacted by them. Upon learning this, I called Steve for some help and explaination. All I got was the "guido" charm and forceful arm telling me that I was wasting his time.

I then called the Better Business Bureau and found out that they had 57 complaints filed against them. I also googled the owners name listed on the Better Business Bureau (Marcus Obser)and found out he is a professional gambler and made over $200,000 last year gambling somebodys money. (probably part of the fee I have paid them). Then I found out that their licensing is for Tax Collection in the state of Florida also listed on the Better Business Bureau. Also, the people I signed up with are just Salesman in a sales office, the people in customer service and the people supposedly contacting my credit card people are located somewhere in New York. When calling the Better Business Bureau, they stated to me that this company has had numerous complaints and were only rated with a B- rating.

The bottom line is that I was bullied into their program, did everything I was supposed to do and they obviously have not done a thing for me except promise me the moon that I was going to be debt free. I cancelled their service and would advise anyone considering this company to research heavily before ever signing up with them. I have lost the cheap fee they charged me because I thought I was getting a great deal. This company should not be promising something they obviously cannot deliver.

Very Interesting to hear this! I have just requested a full refund from this company citing many of the same issues. They are violating page 6 section 5 of the contract that they have you sign which states "will keep CLIENT reasonably informed of progress in the pursuit of this agreement's objectives" They in fact do not keep you informed! After several conversations with them they stated they cannot contact original creditors, this is not disclosed in writing or on the phone, it is not until you sign up that you are informed of this! They violate any agreement when they promise a service that they know they cannot provide! They ask for letters from the cerditors saying they will work to reach an agreement when in fact they must first let it go to a thirxd party agency before they can work on it! Your credit gets worse and worse in the mean time! I believe that by promising a service they cannot legally provide until it goes to a third party and not disclosing this fact is a violation of LAW ANYWHERE! I intend on calling them on this fact! Is they had disclosed this fact prior then shame on me but because they did not shame on them!!

Though some people may not have the best experience with a program like this, it is drastic to say we don't do what we say we will. some people have selective hearing and only hear what they want to hear, but it is always made very clear to any client we sign up that individual results may vary due to variables we can not control. It is also made very clear that if your accounts are current, this may not be the best option for you and your accounts would have to be deemed uncollectible by the original creditor for us to negotiate. this means you would have to go through a collection process with the original creditors calling frequently to try and collect their debt. If you choose to join the program anyway to try and save some time and money that's your perrogative. As far as the complaints with the BBB, anyone can do the research and see that they have all been resolved, 55+ resolved by giving the person a full refund. Over the course of 3-4 yrs. and thousands of clients, you can see how their may be a few rotten apples. We only promise third party collectors will stop calling because they do once they recieve our Power of Attorney Letter. This does not pertain to the original creditors. Another thing is if there's information out there showing you have a strong annual income a creditor might not be so quick to put your accounts in to collections if they see you can still handle their minimum payment. As far as a creditor saying we haven't contacted them or they haven't heard of us, this is only going to be a tactic to get a client back on their side of the fence. Looks like it worked on this lady. The bottom line is that if we didn't do what we say we can, we would never be able to get accredited by the BBB or Tasc, the Association of settlement Companies and we would not have the reputation we have. The other thing is that all clients can see and read a binding agreement that outlines the entire program before you agree to anything. So in conclusion, do your homework and you should be okay. And a question...how could you let someone bully you over a telephone? All you have to do is hang up like all the other people who decide this isn't for them. Don't confuse convincing yourself something can work to your benefit with being bullied.
