Do not make the mistake of renting here! Besides being an over-priced dump the apartment management will lie to you about anything in order to get you to sign a lease. Nothing the staff will tell you is true. This community looks peaceful and decent but nothing could be more untrue. The leasing office will attempt to charge you all types of fees and extras for things which are not specified in the lease. The lease will misrepresent the terms and policies of the community. If a tenant complains they are subjected to all manner of abuse and degrading treatment, especially by Shanna Leal. This b***h is a pathological liar who gets off of abusing tenants; she has personally lied to me about so many issues that I have had to write everything down in order to keep track. When you call this psycho on her lies she will just lie some more and change her story again in an attempt to beat you down and back off. I am in the middle of legal action with Equity residential and in a few days I will update with more detailed information. DO NOT MOVE HERE, there are far better options in the area which will also accept pets. The leasing staff here will make your life a living hell if you complain about any of their misrepresentations.

I live in Deerwood for 5 years and am very surprised with the report. It doesn't make too much sense to me. I had a few minor issues with managers about 3 years ago and we solved them easily. Managers are polite, maintenance guys are superb, apartments look great inside and outside, prices are reasonable - I pay extra $25 for second covered parking spot and $80 for a huge storage. I wonder if the person who filed the report is OK.

While I have no clue who this may be, I invite you to sit down to discuss your concerns. You are abviously very upset, and for that I am sorry. I have never lied to a resident, and I take great pride in maintaining good resident relations, while adhering to company policy. Perhaps the issue here is a miscommunication? Again, I am not sure since nothing in this complaint lists any specifics. Our rental terms and conditions are laid out in the lease pages 1-6. In addition, a list of our community policies are listed in our resident handbook for review. If there has been a mistake on my part I would like the opportunity to remedy the situation.
