My Husband ordered a Dell computer for our daughter for Christmas 2002 at a local Mall in Clear Lake area in Texas. We had the funds taken from our checking account using E-Check, which they withdraw the funds within hours of the purchase.

My Husband realized he did not order a CD-burner, so the very next day he returned to the Mall to make the additional purchase. What he was told by the Dell Sales Rep. was to call Dell, given then the original order number and they add it to original purchase order. Which he did, but instead of using the a different E-Check for the CD-burner the Sales Rep. stated, " he would use the same E-Check number to make the additional $74 withdrawal from our checking account.

What happens next was the beginning of "Hell with Dell". Instead of the $74 dollar withdrawal, Dell withdraws $234.00 from our checking account. When my husband saw the error, he immediately notified Dell.

Dell claimed they had no record of the transaction for

$234.00 withdrawal. After several attempts & hours on the phone with "no success". My husband contacted the our bank And explained what we were going through with Dell, with no success.

Around December 8th we instructed our bank to return the E-Check of $234.00 due to un-authorization-- of the charge and the fact they had on record of transaction. After that Dell has literally frozen our ability to write a check for purchases, because we are now denial approval when our checks are process through the system. Our organically order was cancelled, which we were never notified, and as of Dec 24th our checking account is still frozen. Dell You is going down! You think we were a small fish. But you have loss millions; you will not get any of our business.

Just remember it was your reputation that made me your customer in the beginning. Now I'll do everything I can to spread the truth about your awful company. Instead of Dell you should be called Enron Compiter.
