Had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with Denbeigh joinery, ordered a plate rack on 20th November, very very poor communication after that, tried to phone and text and nothing. Finally received a text message saying they were cancelling my order. Requested bank details and issued them with bank details on the 20th December. Nothing heard until the 3rd when I chased for an update when I was insulted via text message and told I would not be getting a refund. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Was this through small courts or a legal firm. Has the company been reported to Trading standards? I see that they also own another company and may be causing similar problems through that too. This has been a real nightmare for us. And the couple use such insulting abusive language when you make attempts to contact them for our money as if we are doing something wrong. Never had such an experience before and they must be stopped from stealing money from others! Any advice on how to proceed? We have paid them £775

I have since filed a claim against Denbeigh Joinery and had a response. The defendant states that the company has ceased trading, They have accepted my claim and offered to pay back a very small amount per month until the dept is repaid. Unsure if this will be successful or not, or whether they will default again but the claim has been conducted through the courts and assume if they default they will automatically be in breach of the agreement. What a terrible experience.

We have had the same experience with Denbeigh joinery. Ordered a kitchen island in early November for pre Christmas delivery on 20th December. Paid in full by bank transfer. They called me in 19th Dec to say they cant deliver as the machine was broken down. No refund and not accepting my calls texts or emails. Extremely rude to my husband and me when we managed to call them via an unidentified number. No money back and now the website seems non existant. We have lost a lot of money. Surely they cannot get away with cheating so many people. Can anyone help?
