*Consumer Comment: Dr. Vahe Antanesian, Docter of Simi Valley Dentistry, was AMAZING!
If I could give less than a 1 I would. I neeeeeeeever give less than a 2, but d**n, this Dentistry has pissed me off waaaaay too many times. I always leave there office very aggravated.
The Facts -
1. I've never waited any less than 35 minutes. The last 2 visits have been 1 1/2 hours long each. All I was there for these last 2 times was a 10 minute check up on gums/cleaning. I've gone before lunch/after lunch(on their advice), when they've opened, it makes no difference.
2. They're are not cheap. $300+ for a deep cleaning, $300+ for antibiotic injection(it's a plastic tube they spray your gums with for less than 3 minutes), $30.00 for a regular check up/cleaning, which I know is standard and am fine with, but how the F*CK are you going to charge me a $5.00 set-up fee and a $5.00 sterilization fee??? SH*T better be setup/sterile before my a*s gets there. "Your insurance allows us to charge for both these fee's, so we do." Ok, if it doesn't cost you s**t, why are you charging me? They don't need that money. They don't HAVE to charge for it, they elect to. I told the girl (Sandra)at the front, who's seem to by dr Antanesian girl friend , that is what ridiculous. She looked down, picked up my appointment card, handed it to me,and said you have HMO plan and that was that. To be expected.
3. I was told I needed $600.00+(2 things above) dollars spent on my gums or I was going to be in serious trouble. I told them there was no way I was doing that. I again asked how important it was, they stressed. I asked for an alternative, they said just the deep cleaning. I said I wasn't spending that muck, AND THEN they said, "well, take better care of your gums, come back, and we'll take it from there." So I did, I went back, and my gums are 100% fine. WTF!!! That was my last visit,
Now I'm not one to jump to conclusions, so I stuck with them for 6 visits. Spoke to them calmly about my concerns regarding price/time spent all but one time. So far it's really been getting worse. I am beyond done with them. They would have to jump through hoops to get my business back. Obviously I'm not holding my breath.
I've lived in a lot of different city's/states, had a lot of different dentists, this Dentistry is by far the worst. I hate to be so negative, but 6 visits later, please d**n it.

When I first went to Simi Valley Dentistry, what can i say, i was stunned! They were very friendly, um, dont even TALK about wait time and prices! I was well thrilled at the idea of having short wait anytime of the day, not having to pay a cent over a good price, and well i came home and went to file an ecstatic report about this guy and his wonderful employees and what do i see but these horrifying reports on this guy! What the hell was that? So i have been going to this dentist for a couple months now and when i mentioned this, he is being sabotaged by a girl who apparently has nothing better to do then mail pictures of her to him and write these junky, trashing comments about him and yes she was actually TRUTHFUL in 1 of these! A lawyer is going to sue her and well, my wishes to dr. vahe, thnk you for the wonderful teeth. A clean smile is a happy one!

I would like to inform the citizens and the community of Simi valley that there is a person on the internet trying to tarnish my reputation on World Wide web. He/She is posting the same untrue reviews of my business and spreads lies and rumors that I overcharged them or abused them or stole money from them. All these stories are very untrue. I have been a member of professional community in simi valley since oct 1999. I have had no complaints until a month ago. This person has posted many untrue and defamatory content on the internet about me and my good name. they have tried on yahoo, merchant circle, Ripp_off report and Yelp, and Yedda. I have been successful to contact many sites and since they have removed these comments since they originate from the same IP address. However, I have been unccessful to have Rip_off report yelp citysearch and google to delete these reviews. I am sure theer will be more of this reviews in coming days everywhere on the web. I just wanted to make you aware that these comments are very untrue about my dental office. I would encourage you to check out my positive reviews on merchant circle.com and yhoo locals.
