DENTOX- HOWARD KATZ: Online training is not only a complete waste of time but was worthless i could have learned more watching a free video. Katz thinks he created some earth shattering way to easily learn botox and dermal filler injections. Well, i fell for it and took the course, and quess what, i now have a worthless certification that is a joke to say the least.
DENTOX AND KATZ sent me a rediculous foam model where i am supposed to inject and send back photos and based on this i get my certification. Shorlty after this i started treating patients, so far i injected 6 patients. 5 of the patients came back complaining about the results. Online training is not how you are going to learn these techniques. I have since taken a real course with a larger, more reputable company and only now i realize how much information i did not learn with the Dentox, Katz Online training.
HOWARD KATZ claims to be some sort of inventor but i wonder if he has ever even injected a patient. A lot of the information i was given during this Online Hoax, was not not even accurate. I looked up several techniques on the internet only to find out that his information, clinically, is not what is done in common practice. This is probalby why i had patients coming back complaining, at least 2 of the 6 for this reason. The company i learned from (sorrry i dont want this complaint to be about this), had 4 physician instructors during the actual live hands on training. I injected on live patients and was supervised during my injection. The teacher (physician surgeon) pointed out errors in my techniques and corrected what i was doing.
What if i injected this model that he sent me, but my hands were shaky and i accidentally injected into my patients' eye. I guess i still get the "sought after" DENTOX CERTIFICTION? Ill give it to him, he is a good marketer becasue his website fooled me and i am very p_____ to say the least. Im sure there are others who do not liked to get tricekd into buying something that wont accomplish what its supposed to! its not worth tryting to save a few hundred dollars. This whole thing ended up costing me more since i stil had to attend another company's program.
How can this be allowed. I am dual certififed as a Dentist and an MD. I thought it would be very easy for me to learn and implement these techniques, and they are, but not without proper training. Dentox and Katz will certify anyone with $700.
Dentox Online Training: Sorry i cant offer any real advise other than to get properly trained. Find a real company and go to it. if you plan on offering some of these techniques to your patients, the last thing you want to do is to look like an amateur, believe me you will be very embarrased.

Please read the comment above where the author withdrew his Ripp off Report complaint about Dentox.
Thank you for still giving me the opportunity for a rebuttal.
I have been training healthcare providers in the use of injectables for almost 2 decades. My name is on use patents for Botulinum neurotoxins (like Botox, Dysport, Xeomen). This means that I am acknowledged for my involvement in discovering how to use these effectively. I have injected more patients for a longer period of time than the majority of trainers in the world. I am not an opportunist who has attended one program given by a random plastic surgeon or RN, and now wants to get on to the Botox training bandwagon.
At any Dentox live online program all attendees have to demonstrate their understanding of the technique on their own faces or someone with them during the program, and, on completion of the program, on to the model heads that are shipped to them. Each and every attendee is in front of a live camera on their computer, and interacts with me in real time. At every Dentox program correct techniques for all injection sites have to be demonstrated before we move on to another technique with the program curriculum. At most other non-Dentoxcourses the majority of attendees will only injectone or two areas. And by the wayDentox also offers one-on-one live patient training in the providers own office.
Dentox will only issue CEU’s for completion of any of our educational programs after anyone attending demonstrates a clear understanding of the material covered. After the program every attendee has access to my personal email and cell phone to ask any questions.
Only the professional healthcare boards and their Practice Act determines whether or not attendees are licensed to inject, not Dentox.
It is unfortunate that Rip-Off Report will publish a false, negative review of Dentox Botulinum and Filler Training Classes after the author of the complaint had immediately acknowledged that he had made a mistake with the name of the education provider. His complaint is against another company, not Dentox. I trust that Rip-Off Report will remove the negative report because it demonstrates how anyone can maliciously damage another person’s business without merit using the Rip-off Report website.

To whoever this is, sorry for my mistake as this is not the same co we took the course with. This was only posted the other night and when my partner showed me our original registration with the different company, i immedialty made this post correcting myself.
My statement about online training for this type of education is accurate, as welll as my experience with the correct online course we did attend, whihc was inadequate to say the least.
Without live training and hands on practicing, there is no way to properly be evaluated and tested as to your technical skills and standard of care which ultimately you must provide your patient. If you want to avoid the embarrassment i went through with the patients i treated prior to taking a live course, then dont waste your time with an online course.
i believe online training to learn Botox and Fillers is worthless, but in all fairness, i cant state first hand about the Dentox course bc we attended a different one. Im sure over time others may commment on their experiences with Dentox and im sure i could guess correctly as to their experience.
If you want to save time and money and get some quick training (why most others dont invest the time in an actual workshop), then at least watch some actual videos on the subject. You are sure to learn some new concepts and may learn why not taking a real course is not the route to go. Hope this was helpful , Chris, MD, DDS
