Abel Perez, likely future felon, is one of the most skilled, smooth talking scammers I've ever dealt with.  I'm shocked that I gave this nut as much time as I did.  He claims to produce television segments and infomercials for product promotion so he's likely to call upon you if you own a product or a consumer products company.  He claims his specialty is media outreach in the latino market - a tempting pitch for anyone given the size and possibilities in that market. He also claims that his "group" owns cable television channels in the US dedicated to the latino audience.

Wow.  Absolutely none of that is true.  He has no staff, no clients, and is just an internet shell....of a company and of a human being.  He lives in a tiny house in Hobart, Indiana, undoubtedly the headquarters for this and possibly other schemes.  When asked if he could provide examples of his work or actual references, he balked and indicated that I was the very first person ever to ask for references. I was wary given that legitimate businesses LOVE to give references....it's the fastest way to get new business if your references are both authentic and excellent.

He produced zero examples of his work, zero references, and was in an incredible hurry to collect $5000 from me to get the ball rolling.  He called my home after 7PM one evening and demanded to know why I "didn't get it".  I hung up and he called back several time.  I thought I was going to have to take legal action to get rid of him.  Alas, he finally withdrew and decided to focus his efforts elsewhere.

Buyer beware.  This gentlemen will likely be shut down at some point but he will reappear in some new carefully crafted scam to be sure - they always do.
