Dfps in Denton is a complete scam. They say they want to help but just prolongs everything making your whole family suffer. They claim they want to help you but they don't they removed from my home my fiancé. We have been together for 5 years and I am going for disability and recently had surgery. They removed him from my home stating that he abused drugs 7 days a week which is ridiculous because he helps me out with my son and he is with him most times. Since birth because he was born disabled. They sit here and it's more of an interrogation than anything and you have to sign the documents. That they want you too but they can't help you. It was stated by this case worker that he needed to attend AA/NA classes. We had one income coming into the house now we have none because he has to pay for another place to stay because he has to sleep somewhere else. I am under medication from my surgery and they want to back you into a wall. Anyone can attest to the way our children is taken care of even them. I have a 13, 10, and 3 year old. There is no violence or intent to cause any injury. So it is agreed to take some classes but he doesn't have a car. We have no transportation but still on a waiting list for any resources this will cause me to lose my home, my deposit I put down and etc. Because I am facing an eviction. I mean what more do they want my son is wanting his father that's whom been there since he was 2 pounds. I have evidence from even people at the store that he comes in with him all the time. You don't see them not together. Saying that this isn't true. Then he works hard then have to try and pay bills all the hours he can but no help on their end. I have contacted my case worker plenty of times and all she can say is someone is going to call you. When? They really need to get things together because this is so sloppy how this is being handled. I won't have anyone or anything after them.

Your post is a bit hard to follow. However, these circumstances can make communicating without emotional interference quite difficult. I'd like to state first that I am sorry that you are having a difficult time in dealing/communicating with DFPS. This is not a new issue, and you are certainly not alone. If you find yourself open to the idea of having someone go over your case with you, please contact me. I am no one special. I'm simply a parent dealing with my own personal story involving DFPS. I am currently conducting research regarding the agency's adherence to statute, code and policy. If you feel you and your children have been truly mistreated, the best course of action is through research and self education. Standing alone your voice will be but a whisper, but together we can hold those who choose to disregard the laws that govern them accountable. (((REDACTED)))

Your report makes no sense! Just a long rambling sentence. What is your disability since you are the one who stated that you were going for "disability". SO if you can have kids then what is your disability? There are lots of forms of transportation in the Denton area ie: buses, paratransport, cabs etc etc. IF you are facing eviction then I suggest you cut down on the luxuries like INTERNET services!
I suggest you work for CPS and see how easy the job is - THEN come back and post a report.
