Diamond Van Lines Diamond Van Lines stole my furniture and is holding it hostage. They quoted one price, when the movers came they wrapped up my furniture and told me it was going to be double the price. I told them I could not pay the amount and they said they had free storage for a month and you could pay for additional storage. When I called after a month the rude owner said that I had to pay my balance to get another month of storage. Nationwide
He said if I did not pay they would auction off my furiture, which I believe was the intention all the time. This is an awkful company with a rude and scarcastic owner who believes he can treat Americans any way he pleases. he sounds forgeign and took pleasure in saying "You don't pay you don't eat!" There are ways people terrorize others and this company is good at holding people's furniture hostage and insighting fear about one's belongings. Don't use this company. www.diamondvanl
I contacted Diamond Van Lines to move my belonging from Yonkers, NY to Spotslyvannia, VA. I told them I only had a small one-bedroom apartment and not much stuff. They quoted me a price. They came to my apartment as agreed on 12/26/13 to move my belongings. The guys started wrapping up my belongings straight away. I asked why are they wrapping my stuff when it was going to be just a city to city move in a few hours. They said it was their policy.
I was charged for the wrap and tape. I was also charged twice the agreed amount. I was not expecting to pay twice the price and told them I could not pay I was told they had a free one month storage and you could get addtional storage. I had to argue with this rude owner. About two weeks later I received a call from the moversabout 11:00 at night saying they were on the way to my apartment. I was horrified. They said they would be there the next day. I told them that I did not have the money and had not been contacted about a move date.
Long story short, again I had to argue with this rude owner. At the end of the month I called to request another monthe I was told that I had to pay my balce, an additional $1000.00 before I could get an additional month. I was told if i didn't pay they would auction off my furtiure which is what I believe the intention was all the time. These guys are crooks and hold your furiture hostage.
