Diampond Resorts Kaanaapali Rip Off Internet
My wife and I, purchased a timeshare at Kaanapali, Maui in 2006. We were told at that time that the numbero fof points that we purchased would be sufficient enough to book a week in the future. Well that was a lie and quite hurtful as we attempted to indeed book a return trip only to find out that we did not have enough yearly points. We attempted to contact a sales rep., shared our sales experience, to no avail. Now, the gawdy increase in management/maintenance fees has put us in a pickle. The increase has stretched our budget in a way that would cause financial hardship for the first 6 months of the new year if we decide to pay them, as we are on a strict budget in lieu of the economic downfall.
Finally, the "Undercover Boss" episode was outlandish and self-serving from the beginning. The CEO could not humble himself, as previous CEO'S, did by staying in accommodations lesser than he is accustomed to on a daily basis. What a dweeb!!! Additionally, We could only think about the statement that was staring us in the face as we watched.
We are willing to band together and fight the increases! Please keep us posted.
