d**k Dyer Toyota Does Not Honor 36,000 Mile Bumper to Bumper Warranty, Ripoff Columbia South Carolina
My rear defroster on my Toyota Highlander 03 stopped working. I took it to d**k DyerToyota. They refused to fix it .. they said it was not a warrantable item. They claimed I damaged it. They would only fix it if I paid over $600. They were not nice.
They also made a big deal that I did not purchase it at their dealership. I have bought 4 toyota's over 12 years. This is the last... I guarantee it. I never brought any in for in service warranty work.
When I went in to pick up my vehicle after they refused to honor warranty...they made me wait 1 1/2 hours. Do not buy from they... they do not honor warranties.

I will back you up Maryann, I have a friend who bought a car from them and now she is having problems with them fixing ANYTHING on her car.

If there was tint on the window and then it was scraped off, the defrosting strips are damaged. This would OF COURSE void the warranty. Damage is never covered by any warranty.
