Management will try to sell you to work here. The ads that you see placed about those "4 hour workdays, boat days" etc, are complete FABRICATIONS to say the least.

As this company grows, they have been taking away certain privileges such as leaving work early with a full day's pay after two sales, late privileges, etc.

They have never once offered their employees a "gym subsidy", or anything of the sort.

Also, don't be fooled about the base salary here. It's $15/HOUR. That's what pretty much everyone here gets. Absolutely no one on the sales team is making anything close to what targets the COO and the recruiting manager, have posited such as 50-65k in the first year with recurring, compound commissions. Even the COO believes this office should be a churn and burn mentality with high turnover.

This company's product is highly unsellable, and you really should realize that your base and maybe a few extra thousand in commission is all you're going to get. Don't believe the hype.

The COO also has a very revisionist form of history and will spin everything to meet his objective. He will tell you to your face that with the commission structure you are a 10% equity owner in the company. Garbage. Show me some real documentation proving that. If I resign does the residual commission that I have built still get paid? NO. Therefore, it's not equity, and run for the hills when you hear phrases like that.

I'm only still here to ride it out when the investors pull the plug on this sham of a company and then see what is to me, a deer in the headlights hit a sobering dose of reality.

What is the work environment and culture like at DigiMapps?

The manager, or micromanager I should say lives to sell you on the hype of this job claiming one day you will be a top exec. Their turnover rate is appalling to say the least and believes that the product is the easiest sell in the world. It is not, folks. Don't think it is. They have no active inbound campaign or brand awareness. They are fraught with customer complaints and abuses of basic law.

What benefits does the company provide?

The company only contributes $100, TOTAL to your healthcare in a month. Not a % based on the amounts you get quoted. Free dental and vision. No 401k, no retirement, nothing. If you are elderly and are facing $400-$500 monthly premiums, the company still donates $100. They are very stingy and by far the least generous healthcare plan I have seen. I think it only meets the minimum requirements as constitutes federal law.

5 vacation days in a calendar year.

Stingiest workplace benefits I have seen. No severance pay given.

They also don't honor overtime worked. They log time sheets and then roll your time back without your permission if you have taken a smaller lunch period or worked after 8 hours in a calendar day. I guess whomever is doing payroll is unfamiliar with California wage law.
