I've been looking to purchase this camera since 2011 and was only looking for the body;not the kit.  To my surprise, I happened to stumble upon this site (Digital Depot).  I noticed the remarkable price and couldn't believe what I was seeing.

So I called customer service dept. to confirm that the price that I was seeing was correct.  I, too, was told that it was but they were out of that great market deal, but they had the standard price available for shipping.

I placed the order over the phone with the customer service rep who gave me a date that I would receive the product.  I was informed that I should receive an email 3 days prior to the delivery date and that I would receive a confirmation of billing within a couple of days. 

Needless to say, the product was not delivered on the promised date neither was the confirmation of email. So I called again to customer service, who told me that they had the wrong email address (which I couldn't understand) especially going over the information repeatedly with the rep. 

I was told another email would go out to me (again) to confirm everything.  I did receive the email and as I read through it down at the bottom I noticed that my shipping and billing address was not wrong.  So I wrote an email to them asking how could this be.  I never got a response back. 

Needless to say, I called customer service once again and went over the information once again and customer service told me that they got everything and that I had to wait an additional 3 days for delivery, which I couldn't understand and asked why.  It didn't make any sense to me because they didn't even have a tracking number.

So I asked once again how could you track down your shipment without a tracking number and believe me, the customer service's reply was that I didn't know what I was talking about!

At that moment, I knew I was being had. So I called my credit card company to report this. Talking to my credit card company, I decided to give Digital Depot the benefit of the doubt on their 2nd date, which was the 2/26.  That fell through, never receiving a tracking number or a call from them.

So I called and gave them my order # was put on hold twice.  When someone came on, I was told that I wasn't talking with customer service department, but with a telephone operator for the company and he asked for my telephone # for the tracking department, and that they would call me back. 

So I asked why couldn't he transfer me to tracking department.  His response was that they weren't working around my schedule! So I said fine I will call my credit card company to cancel my payment.

Wouldn't you know it?  All of a sudden, the phone operator was now the customer service person!! telling me fine we're going to cancel your order now and don't you never call back!

So me being me, I said wow I didn't know the phone operator could cancel orders and he proceeded to tell me how much my refund would be and to never call back. 

So let this be a warning to others....stay away from Digital Depot because they are a FRAUD and please pass this to others by word of mouth.  Hope no one goes through this like I did.  and remember this age old saying.....

If it's sounds too good to be true, 9 times out of 10 it's not.  Always check out the company reviews before ordering anything, is my lesson learned.
