Dillards Department Stores LAID their people off before the holidays Plano Texas
I would like to start with my job history at Dillards I have been a very good and loyal employee at Dillards for 11 years. They told me that they were going to have to demote me in order for me to stay working so instead of getting rid other managers who don't know what they are doing. They decided to get rid of me because I was making too much money! Wow this is from a company who has people running this company right now making 6 figures and don't even have a clue about thier own job he is the area regional manager who I won't state his name you will just have to look that up. He soley made that decision to let go of me because he did not like me have nothing to do with job performance. In fact he never once repermanded me on anything but he said they had to cut back. Well as long as Dillards has managers like him leading thier company they won't ever show a profit but they rather lay off good loyal employees right before Christmas and right before we go and do to have inventory just so they can save A LOUSY 40,000 a year Now that is planning for the future. This is not the first time that THIS man does things like this, He has a history of making BAD decisions.
Well if that is who they want leading this company no wonder we have so many store closing in the metroplex. If you are thinking about working there I need to warn you DON'T. They will suck you dry than just throw you away like yesterdays news! They are in turmoil right now and I am glad I am not on that sinking ship I just feel sorryf or my former employees who have to deal with thier rediculous policies and procedtures. Well I hope some will read this before it is to late and they start working for a BADLY ran department store like Dillards! Thank you
